. . . "Write" Teacher For Me Download Updated . . .

This post is one of my most popular for both Teacher Appreciation and Back to School treats for the new teacher so I'm sharing it again.  I used Pens and Pencils from the $1 bins at Target and made another cute treat for our 5th Grade Teacher.

It's almost time for the kiddos to go back to school, (yay )how sad!  Back to school means thinking about a small treat for the new teacher and this is the perfect little "something"!  Every classroom needs a pile of pencils or pens so this is an all purpose gift for any teacher in any grade.

You may remember I did this the last  2 years but I've updated the tag download for you and changed up the style of my finished product thanks to washi tape.  Both download links are at the bottom of the post.

To make tags like I did you will need:
A sheet of 8.5 x 11 inch card stock
A small hole punch
Package of pencils (I bought 4 packages of pencils from the Dollar Store--2 packs for girls and 2 packs for boys so no one was left out when the teacher puts them out)
Washi Tape
Card stock for layering
Twine or Ribbon
*To do a super fast treat just cut out the label color you want and tape it directly to the package of pencils

• • • Teacher Gift
• Print out your tags from the download link below and gather your supplies
• I did two packs of pencils in boy colors and two packs in girl colors
• Cut out the label in the color selection that works for you
• Cut small strips of washi tape for the corners of each square tag

• I added a small piece of washi to each corner of my square tag
• I then folded the excess around the back of the square tag and trimmed it.  Using the washi tape is strictly optional but I liked the added pop of color

• I attached my finished tags to a black piece of card stock and cut it out and punched a small hole in the corner to thread my twine through
• I bagged the pencils in clear cello bags and tied them with a piece of twine

• I attached my tags to each bag by tying them on with a piece of baker's twine
• I taped a few pieces of washi on the bottom of the bags for another pop of color
• You are all set!

. . . Puppy Chow Recipe & Treat Topper . . .

I know you are all probably tired of seeing yet another treat topper from Itsy Bitsy Paper but they are such fun to create and add a pop of color and whimsy to any treat and I love sharing them with you.

Dog Gone Good Treat!
I created this one for my son's classmates and some of the support staff at the school.  I made homemade Puppy Chow but also showed an example of packaging cute Scooby Snacks Bones which may be a little more costly but super fun too!  If I would have just had a couple bags to get ready I think I would have done all Scooby Snacks but since I had 30 snack bags and multiple quart size bags I knew I needed something I could make in a large quantity so I did the Puppy Chow.

If you haven't made Puppy Chow then you are missing out on a delicious sweet snack!  You will have to give it a try.  I've shared the recipe too as an added bonus.

Have Fun!

Puppy Chow Recipe
Gather up your supplies including your print out
Fold your treat topper in half.  Fill your snack size ziploc bag with treats then add your treat topper and staple it to the top of your ziploc.

Puppy Chow:
 Gather ingredients
Melt chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter over low heat
Stir chocolate mixture until smooth

Pour your cereal in a large bowl (I used 24 cups of cereal for this jumbo batch but the recipe is adjusted for 9 cups of cereal)
Pour your melted chocolate mixture over the cereal and mix well so all cereal is coated
Fill a ziploc or paper bag with powdered sugar then add chocolate covered cereal mixture and shake well until all cereal is covered in the powdered sugar

Store Puppy Chow mix in an airtight container or bag in snack size ziploc bags and add a treat topper telling your friends and family to have a "Dog-Gone" good summer!
These look super cute with the Scooby Snack Treats too!

 Cute and Fun!

. . . Hoppin Good Easter Free Treat Topper Download . . .

I love doing treat bag toppers for my son's class!  They are cute and super duper simple and always make a big impression.  Plus it's fun to get to share them with all of my Blog Readers!  I love seeing your photos when you use them for your kids so please share if you use either of these downloads.

This time I decided to do two styles--one for teachers, principals and staff and then one for the students in his class.  I did the chocolate bunnies with a message of "Wishing you a "Hoppin" Good Easter" and then the second one is set up for the kids and it holds two mini Reese's Cup Eggs and the message says "Wishing you an EGGcellent Easter".  There are lots of different styles of Easter "Egg" Candy in the stores so if you have peanut allergies to work around I know there are other options for you.  We are not in that situation so I went with the PB Eggs.

These are perfect for your friends, family, classmates, neighbors...the list could go on and on.  Who wouldn't love getting a cute Easter Treat?

Celebrate by downloading one of these cute iron on decals and make cute shirts for your kids.

I love making my son fun shirts for each holiday or event.  It's funny because he is so proud of them.  I could probably add bows and flowers and he'd still wear them with pride.  Plus, it's a bonus that with this project the kiddos can lend a helping hand.
I also had the pleasure of making onesies for twins.  Kelly from Food, Fun and Fitness was nice enough to let her kids be models for the day.  They are absolutely adorable in their Cute Chicks Onesies.  Baby M and Baby C look like they give it their seal of approval.

. . . My Heart Bursts For You Download . . .

Doesn't everyone love Starburst candy?  I know in our house it is a big favorite.  When I was brainstorming something to do for my son's classmates for Valentine's Day I thought of Starbursts.  I loved the idea of using the phrase "My Heart Bursts for You".  It turned out to be a fun project.  I purchased the little treat cups at Wal Mart and grabbed some shredded paper and cellophane bags and of course some Baker's Twine and a 3 inch Scallop Punch that a friend was nice enough to let me borrow.  That is it--quick and easy!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
The best part is that you can do this too since I'm giving you the FREE DOWNLOAD!!

♥ Download Tags Here ♥

Print your tags and gather up your treat bags, treat cups, cello bags, baker's twine, paper shreds and a punch.  Cut out the tags and use double sided tape to adhere them to a coordinating stock that you've punched out with a 3 inch circle, square or scallop.  *As you can see in the last photo above I wasn't going to use the additional colored stock but it looked kind of boring so I added the scallop circle in the pink and yellow as seen below.

Once you've assembled your tags punch a small hole
in the tag and tie on the bag using Baker's Twine

I'm sure your kids will be a big hit when they share
this goodie with their friends and teachers.

. . . Oldy But A Goody--Valentine's Day Download . . .

I wanted to add another "pop" of color to my Valentine's Day decorations and decided this was the perfect way to do it.  I took a 5x7 black frame and added my artwork to it and then added a few felt heart stickers I had leftover from my topiary project and added a bow to the corner and tada...a framed piece of art for Valentine's Day.
I wanted to share the artwork so you can create your own project with it.  Click HERE to get yours and fee free to SHARE!
Gather your few supplies and print your artwork on a 5x7 piece of cardstock

Add the art to your 5x7 frame

Add your stickers or other items you want to use to dress it up.
Add your ribbon tied in a bow--I used glue dots to attach

 Display your artwork!
Easy as pie but it looks so cute.

I would love to see how YOU used the artwork so be sure to link back here!
Make sure you SHARE the link for this post so others can enjoy the artwork too.

. . . Holiday Gift Label Download . . .

Every year when I wrap holiday gifts I try to create a cute label that matches.  This year I thought I'd share the label I created.  These are available in several color schemes and set up as 2x2 inch squares.  You can print them on 2x2 inch label sheets, full page label sheets or cardstock and cut them down to size.  I showed two options in my photos--one was a sticker and the other was printed on cardstock and tied on to my package.

I hope you enjoy the freebie!

. . . Turkey Treat Bag Topper Download . . .

I always like to make sure I send my son's classmates home with a treat for each holiday and treat toppers make every treat look cuter.  I loved my Gobble Till You Wobble Print so much I decided to use the turkey again and do a very simple but cute treat topper.  You can download it HERE for FREE!

These are so simple because all you have to do is print them out on an 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock and cut to fit a snack sized ziploc bag.  Then fold them in half and staple to the top of the bag filled with your choice of treats.

I am using mini cookies for my son's treat bags but there would be lots of cute things you could put in them.
