I really don't think there has ever been a completed craft project that I have used more than these great Dollar Store Apothecary Jars. You probably are tired of seeing them all the time but they are so versatile for each and every season. I have made sets in graduating sizes as well as all the same size and I use them over and over again as my loyal readers know well.

l wanted something to make these jars really stand out so when I was putting my Tshirt Wrapped Candles away after Valentine's Day I thought about other things I could use to dress up my candle and jars. I had a lightbulb moment when I was running through the Easter section at Target and saw a package of colorful rubber bands for hair. I have super short hair so of course I'm not going to have too many hair accessories around the house so I had to buy a few packs of them in the bright colors I wanted. I then purchased Sweet Tart Jellybeans and was in business to add some brightness to my spring decor
• You will need your vases, jellybeans and hair elastics in desired color
• I find that the Sweet Tart Jellybeans are the best color for my Easter decorating but there are a ton of others out there to choose from
• Just slide the hair elastics over the jars until you reach the desired "height"
• I used a combo of thick and thin hair elastics
• Use my Toilet Paper Roll idea to reduce the amount of jellybeans you need to use.
• Once you've placed the TP roll in place just fill the vases with jellybeans and you are all set to decorate
These turned out bright and fun!

I liked how the larger vases turned out so I used my leftover hair elastics to decorate this tiered candle holder.
I also added some more of the colorful hair elastics to a tall clear vase and added a pretty pink candle and a couple little daisies to brighten up my living room a bit.
