. . . Dollar Store Candy Corn Apothecary Jars . . .

I love the Dollar Store for finding unique things to make crafts out of.  I made these Apothecary Jars from Dollar Store finds and I have continued to use them over and over again for each season.  They get so many compliments with the ever changing way I use them.

I made a trip to the Dollar Store and picked up Candy Corn and tea lights to create a new look for my jars since Halloween is coming quickly.  I found that I didn't like the way the tea light sat on the candy corn so I needed to brainstorm a way to make them sit evenly without showing too much of the candle.  Lucky for me I save toilet paper rolls and that worked perfectly.  It's one of those times that the vision I had in my head turned out just as well in reality.  I love it when that happens.

 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
 You will need your candy corn, tp rolls or paper
towel rolls cut to size, tea lights, tissue paper and vases.
Fill your tube with tissue paper leaving space at the top for your tea light to fit.
Place the filled tube in the vase and start filling with candy corn.
 Keep filling the vase until the candy corn comes level to the top of the tp tube.

 For the taller vase I used 2 tp tubes together so I got the height I needed
Again just keep filling the vase with the candy corn until it reaches the top.  Place your candle at the top of the tube and fill in the candy corn around it so you can't see the tp tube anymore--just be careful you don't have the candy corn laying on the candle when you start burning it.

 Simple and fun for the Halloween Season.

  15. That wouldn't work in my house because I'm a candy corn holic. It would be gone on no time. Love the idea though. Have a great day.
