. . . Blueberry Streusel French Toast . . .

With Mother’s Day being tomorrow I thought I’d share a breakfast recipe today that is super easy.  It requires very little effort but tastes fantastic.  I assume there will be many moms that are having breakfast in bed tomorrow morning and this recipe is one that the husband and children can tackle with ease.

It really requires only 3 ingredients and some syrup and breakfast is served!  You will need Pancake Mix, Milk or Half and Half and Blueberry Streusel Bread or your favorite bread for French Toast.

 • Mix pancake batter making it runnier than you would for pancakes.  I don't use any measurements for this I just dump the mix and milk together and add more as needed.
• You don't have to do this step but I add a little pure maple syrup to the batter for some added flavor.  You could add a little sugar and cinnamon as well.
• Cut bread in half and dip in batter
• Place battered bread in an oiled skillet

• Brown both sides of your french toast
• Add pieces to a plate and add a few fresh blueberries and a pat of butter
• Drizzle with warm syrup and you have breakfast!

  Delicious!

Yummy!
