. . . Almost Over-Elf Fun . . .

I can't believe our little elf will be moving back to the North Pole in just a day or two.  We will all miss the trouble he has caused.  It gives us something to chuckle about everyday!

The last two days he's been torturing me by raiding my wallet and then today balancing my checkbook after his shopping spree with my money.  He left our son a note to tell me that he had spent too much and needed money transferred. Crazy little elf!

One more day to share his antics....I'll post tomorrow to share.

. . . A little more Elf fun . . .

Mischievous  is the only word I can think of to describe our elf, Roy.  He is always up to no good around here.

He was torturing my son the other day by playing with his favorite toys and now today he made himself a snow angel.  Angel would not be the word I'd use to describe Roy.

. . . elf on the shelf fun . . .

Our little Roy has been up to no good almost every day.  We have so much fun racing around looking for him first thing in the morning to see what his trick of the day will be.  I swear he's torturing me because he keeps turning up in spots that are my work areas.  Hmmm???

Have fun!

Having a little fun with the Wii

Busy raiding the hot chocolate stash and getting a messy face while he's at it.
Eating Oreos, silly elf
Reading about the Troopers

WHAT HAPPENED?  He Toilet Papered the family room!

What a mess!  I think we may have to draw the line after this trick....

. . . More Elf Fun . . .

We keep having our Elf show up in interesting places!  We have been looking forward to every morning seeing where he is hiding out or what he is doing.  I hope you enjoy a few more Elf Shenanigans!

Digging into the bag of Chocolate Chips--the evidence is on his face.

. . . Indoor Camping Party . . .

This past weekend we celebrated my son's 9th Birthday.  He has been wanting to do a camping birthday party for awhile now but with it being in December I figure most parents would frown upon their kids sleeping outside in the cold.  We decided to do an indoor camping theme instead and it was so much fun!  Everyone had a great time and I got to do some fun decorations.

It was a mostly sleepless night with all the little boys "camping out" but it was a lot of fun!

. . . Holiday Gift Label Download . . .

Every year when I wrap holiday gifts I try to create a cute label that matches.  This year I thought I'd share the label I created.  These are available in several color schemes and set up as 2x2 inch squares.  You can print them on 2x2 inch label sheets, full page label sheets or cardstock and cut them down to size.  I showed two options in my photos--one was a sticker and the other was printed on cardstock and tied on to my package.

I hope you enjoy the freebie!

. . . More Elf on the Shelf . . .

Our Elf apparently was watching the blogs because Roy (our elf) did the same thing that Elfie from East Coast Mommy did.  He brought us Magic Seeds from Santa and we grew them overnight and ended up with Cookie Pops--how magical is that?  It was a two part process--the first night we got the seeds and planted them in a bowl of magic sugar then the second night we waited for them to grow.

Day One we planted our magic seeds in a bowl of magic sugar.

 He loved planting the seeds!

Wow, look what grew overnight--Cookie Pops!!

. . . Elf on the Shelf . . .

We love our Elf on the Shelf, Roy!  He has the best hiding places and always makes my son chuckle about what he is up to.  It is such a fun and magical tradition to do with your kids.  I think it gets more fun the older they get.  I thought I would start sharing some of Roy's shenanigans that he keeps pulling around our house.

I would LOVE to see some of your
Elf's hiding places.

**Due to a very large amount of  inquiries regarding the Elf Letter template I wanted to let everyone know that I designed the letter for my son and can't sell the template or offer it as a free download because the Elf on the Shelf is a Licensed Character and I do not have commercial license to reproduce the image.  I hope you understand and wish you great luck on doing something similar for your children.  Thank you so much for making this post of my most pinned and visited posts!
