. . . 4th of July Pinwheel Topiary . . .

This project is another one of those super fast and super cheap ideas that make a great decoration or hostess gift! This cute Pinwheel Topiary and the Patriotic Art Download would be the perfect gift for your party hostess today!

This was a dollar bin project which always makes me happy! Cheap and simple...a tin bucket, a pinwheel, a foam block and some paper shreds and you are set.

• Gather your supplies--a tin bucket, foam block to fit in the bucket, a pinwheel you purchase or make, paper shreds and some star wire garland

• Put the foam block in the bucket

• Add the pinwheel and the paper shreds

• Wrap some fun wire garland around the pinwheel stick and you are done!

. . . Painted Patriotic Bottles . . .

My husband was throwing a few bottles away over the weekend and it was a light bulb moment for me to solve a problem I was having completing my Patriotic Mantle. I thought about the spray paint in my garage and the Washi Tape stash I have and figured I’d make a cute set of Painted Patriotic Bottles.

I took the labels off the bottles and then spray painted them. Two were solid colors (one white and one red) and the third I taped off to create a striped bottle. I then added Washi Tape and Baker’s Twine and a few flowers from the dollar store.

Super simple but adds some festivity to my mantle.
