. . . Key Lime Pie Bars--Super Easy . . .

I am so excited to share this recipe with you because I know you will love it.  The key is the brown sugar in the graham cracker crust.  It sets this Key Lime Pie Bar recipe apart from the others.

This can also be made as a pie with a meringue topping.  I personally make this recipe quite a bit in a spring form pan for larger gatherings.  I double the recipe and make it exactly as instructed but just  in a spring form pan.

**Just a reminder that Itsy Bitsy Paper will be enjoying some Sun and Fun July 7th through July 15th.  Emails and orders are welcome but orders placed during this time won't ship until after the 15th of July.

 You will need:
Lime Juice
Graham Cracker Crumbs
Butter
Sweetened Condensed Milk
Brown Sugar

  • Gather your ingredients
• Combine melted butter, graham cracker crumbs and brown sugar together
• Press crust mixture into a baking dish or pie plate and bake as recipe instructs
• Cool crust

• Combine the lime juice and the sweetened condensed milk
• Make sure the juice is well blended into the sweetened condensed milk and it appears smooth in texture
• Poor lime mixture over the cooled crust and place in the fridge for several hours before serving
• Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberries if desired

Enjoy!
