. . . Cookie Time Tuesday-Reese's Pieces Cookies . . .

I find it odd that my husband and son don't like Peanut Butter because I think it's the best thing ever and mixed with Chocolate.....ahhh dreamy!

When I ran across this recipe over at Baked Bree I knew it was a keeper and had to be tried for Cookie Time Tuesday.  These cookies have a nice crispness to them but still remain soft too.  I don't think you can go wrong with these.  I did find that it was best to use a cookie scoop to pack them tight versus just using a spoon.  The dough is a bit crumbly so it was necessary to "pack" it tight and I had to place some of the Reese's Pieces because they didn't want to stay in the dough.  Not a problem but it was something I wanted to tell you ahead of time.

 Print Recipe HERE
You will need:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup room temperature butter
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups Reese’s Pieces
 Gather your ingredients
Cream the butter, PB and sugars together
Add egg and vanilla and mix well
Add dry ingredients and combine

Add in the Reese's Pieces and combine well but don't over mix or the pieces will break up too much
Drop by spoonfuls onto a silpat or parchment lined baking sheet
Bake 9 to 12 minutes and move to a cooling rack

 Scrumptious!!

Don't you think Chocolate and PB should be part of the food pyramid?
