St. Patrick's Day Shirt

I wanted to create a cute and simple St. Patrick's Day shirt for my son.  I created it by using the clover image and adding the "Lucky Charm" to it and then printed it out on transfer paper made for black fabric.  Easy peasy. 

I know it won't be long until my 8 year old is embarrassed of all these crafts but for now I love it that he is proud to show them off.  He was so happy to wear his Lucky Charm shirt to school today so he could tell his teacher his mom made it.  Doesn't that just make my "mommy heart" do a little flip.

Print out your decal and grab the shirt of your choice.  I make sure I iron my shirts first and run the lint roller over it before I place the decal.

This shows the packaging from my transfer paper.  I just buy them at Target or WalMart

Lay out an ironed pillow case (mine is Batman can you tell?) on a hard surface.  I do mine on the bathroom counter because it's the perfect surface.

Lay the transfer paper over top of the decal.  My transfer paper got wrinkly so I just cut a piece of parchment paper to do this part.

Iron over the paper and decal for about 2 minutes or according to the package instructions.

Slowly peel away the transfer paper.

TADA!
