Lavendar Sugar Scrub

The blogging world is always filled with amazing ideas so I wanted to share a great sugar scrub I found over on Lizard and Ladybug.  I did put my own twist on it for the scent that I like but it is still the same idea.  I decided these were going to make great teacher and family and friend gifts for Valentine's Day.  Simple but so great for your skin.  I have spent a fortune over the years on sugar scrubs in the stores and now I realize just how easy it is and think of of the money I can save.

You will need:
1 Bottle of Dawn Oil of Olay Dish Soap (I went with Lavendar)
1 Bag of Sugar
1 Bottle of Lavendar Oil
Container to store your scrub
Table Knife
Optional: Gift Tag and Clear Cello Bag

Your ingredients

You will need a cute tag for gift giving

Fill your container almost full of sugar

Add your soap to the container to create the consistency you like.
I like my sugar scrub to be really "Scrubby" so I don't add that much soap.

You can see about how much soap I used.

Add lavendar oil to acheive the level of fragrance you want. I did 8 to 10 drops.

Use a table knife to really mix it up

Finished--see how easy?

Add a little Baker's Twine from The Twinery

Put in a cello bag or just attach the tag to the container

Here is a little "sugar" just for you!
