Giveaway to ONE lucky reader but I am sharing one of my favorite cookie
recipes!
I have a good friend that used to have
a cookie business and she was nice enough to share her absolutely amazing cut
out cookie recipe! Now, it's my turn to
share it with all of you. This will be
sure to be a crowd pleaser I promise!

You will need:
2 Cups margarine
2 Cups sugar
2 large eggs
7 Cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 Cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
For Glaze:
Powdered sugar
Wilton Meringue Powder
Water
Gather ingredients. You can use the Wilton Cookie Icing or make your own with the recipe mentioned above.
• Cream margarine, sugar and eggs
• Sift all dry ingredients together and slowly add to the butter mixture
• Mix milk and vanilla together then alternately add milk and flour to the butter mixture
• Roll dough out on a floured surface
• Use your Wilton Cookie Cutters or the ones of your choice and cut out the cookies
• Place cut outs on a silpat or parchment paper lined baking sheet
• Bake for 6 minutes in a 375 degree oven
• Once the cookies have cooled completely get your frosting prepared whether using a homemade frosting or the Wilton Cookie Icing
• Frost each cookie and decorate it to your liking. You could use the Wilton Sugars and Sprinkles and other neat cookie decorating items that Wilton offers
• For the best royal frosting I have ever used you will need powdered sugar, Wilton Meringue Powder, water and food coloring
• Mix the first three ingredients together until smooth
• Divide into small bowls and then add food coloring and mix well
• I chose to do fairly bright colors but you could make the frosting any color you choose
• Decorate the cookies as you choose and let the frosting dry and then serve and enjoy the compliments on your amazing cookies!
