. . . Grandma's 85th Surprise Party . . .

My grandmother turned 85 on April 15th and I hosted a Surprise Birthday Party for her that weekend.  It was a very casual affair but we had a great turnout and it really meant a lot to her.  We had a great time and she is still talking about how shocked she was.  We really thought for sure she had a suspicion but she swears it was a total shock.

The best part about her party was seeing and hearing how loved she is.  Everyone raved about how amazing she is to keep so busy and to still be crafting, cooking, quilting etc. at her age.  She is well loved by many!

Here are a few photos from the party...

  2. Your grandma is going strong at 85. I love the way you decorated for her party. She must be a very special lady. The decorations are very pretty and cheerful. You did a wonderful job. Happy belated Birthday to your grandma. My mother is 87 and going strong as well. I hope to be as independent and active as she is when I am her age.
